Meet Our Pastor!
After 17 years at Carterville First Baptist, Darren Wallace has begun a church plant in Kansas City (The Following). As God uses his talents to expand the kingdom elsewhere, interim Pastor Ernie Floor is leading us as we all try to follow God. Ernie and his supporting wife Susan have been leading here since August 2024. Pastor Ernie has a history of being a pastoral leader in past churches and now does so here.

We have experiences stability in leadership, hoping to be a church that reflects what God desires for this community.
Today
God is working in hearts and minds here to know and find how we can better grow His kingdom here. We long for others to join us, a place for the lost to participate in a life together.

We are ever eager to know what God has in store for us here and await what he has for us!
What We Believe
This is our statement of faith:
The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith (II Timothy 3:15-17). The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of “The Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963. We Band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
